I have seen various posts about future developments to allow customised environments and wondered what the latest was on this?
I appreciate the amount of work required to put this into actio, but as an initial stage which might be relatively easy to implement would it be possible to put a customised floor onto the Empty Room exercise? Or maybe just a grid of equally spaced lines to enable practising navigating the robot to a specified location?
I have been working with some school children on the Lego Space Challenge
and being able to work with the challenge mat as a model floor would be hugely useful even without working models for all the different challenges.
